Engineering plastics refer to those high-performance plastic materials that are made under high temperature and high pressure conditions and have good mechanical properties, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, insulation performance and machinability. They are usually also called high-performance plastics. They include a variety of materials such as polyamide (PA), polyester (PET, PBT), polycarbonate (PC), polyimide (PI), aramid (PAR, PEN), polyether ketone (PEEK, PEK), etc.
